TREATS in Wiscasset Maine has been a member of the midcoast community for over 30 years! Starting as a small candy shop, the community has made it a destination for from scratch baked goods, lunch, specialty items, coffee, espresso, wine, beer and cheese. You’ve asked and we’ve listened! New sandwich is hitting the case today—buttermilk fried chicken with a maple chili garlic sauce, topped with cabbage slaw and @morseskraut sour mustard pickles, served cold. Stay tuned for more new lunch items in the works.

OUR STORY

Our family to yours

The love of well made food with carefully grown ingredients, thoughtful nourishment and treats for everyday or a special occasion was how we were raised. We wanted a place where community could gather, share in stories and eat good food all in an atmosphere of warmth and home. In a building from the late 1800s, this little bakery is filled with baked goods, specialty items, beer, wine, cheese, and love. Each morning a few bakers arrive by 2 a.m. to begin creating everything from scratch using local and organic ingredients as much as possible. A small sampling would be our popular scones, coco loco cookies, turkey crannaise sandwiches, tomato bisque soup, seasonal salads along with take away meals like chicken pot pie, lasagna and our famous take and bake scones. We also carry a wide variety of Maine products, locally roasted coffee and espresso and a warm atmosphere to sit and enjoy your goodies.
We’re passionate bakers with a commitment to our community and we plan on continuing this tradition for years to come. We welcome you to come on in and have a bite. Hope you can visit us soon!

We work hard to create a community both for the customer and the staff. We also make everything from scratch and may be sold out in the afternoons. Your patience and kindness is helpful. I have the best staff that show up each day. Give them your best versions of yourself.
